Kofi AKA. Dechie Why ~ immerses himself in the creation of evocative cinematic stories and mesmerising music. He feverently translates the world; the myriad of bizarre journeys from the people who have touched his life, weaving their narratives into his art. His recent works have garnered acclaim, being selected and curated in London artist galleries such as, Dijonss and Ugly Duck Bermondsey.

As a multi instrumentalist soundscape artist, Kofi draws from an eclectic array of influences, from the haunting melodies of Debussy to the avant-garde tones of his compositions are rich tapestries of sound, where urban rhythms meet nature’s whispers and contemporary beats blend with timeless harmonies.

Inspired by the narrative and visual storytelling of filmmakers like Shinji Iwai, Kofi's works are a journey into the depths of human experience. The love of contemplative, intricate portrayals of modern life and poetic fallacies, emotionally resonant narratives are his current approach to his evolving storytelling, both in his writing and his music.

Each piece resonates with the stories and emotions of those who have shaped his path, creating a profound connection between the listeners ears & eyes of the world.
